This year has brought me to so many new places in my home state of Colorado. Though I've lived here for almost my entire life, I've rarely strayed from my usual haunts of Denver, the south metro area, and Summit County. But I'm lucky this job takes me all over this beautiful state I live in. I remember going to Winter Park with a church group as a kid, but that's about it, so the drive into Grand Lake took my breath away. You just can't get more scenic Colorado views!
Carlie and Kahler's wedding at the Winding River Ranch didn't disappoint either. The ranch provided the perfect rustic atmosphere with the mountains towering in the background. They really had it all; a little mountain, a little water, and a little wide open space. Their ceremony was officiated by their cousin which, along with their personal vows, brought such a personal touch to their day and their film. And Carlie also rode into her ceremony on a 4-wheeler, so she wins for most awesome bride ever! Sure beats the long walk!
Carlie and Kahler, thank you so much for allowing us to be a part of your big day! We hope your first week and a half of marriage is as happy as your 50th year of marriage!
